Every video service requires something entirely different. Some service like Netflix tend to do rather well on our 5mb plan; typlcally consuming about 1-2mb for standard definition and 2-3mb for high definition. Others like YoutubeTV, Hulu and Roku do well in our middle package; typically consuming 5-6mb per stream. Still others like Amazon Prime, DirecTv and Dish require the most; typically 12-15mb for a stream. Some play fair with your Internet others don't. For example, Roku and Hulu will take all they can get, just like Microsoft when it comes to Windows update. They saturate your Internet for short periods of time. Our managed wifi service helps control each of these applications so they paly fair.
